Adrian Carson has over 28 years’ experience working in the Indigenous Health sector, working within government and non-government organisations, most recently as the CEO of the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health (IUIH) Ltd. Adrian has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC), the Queensland peak body for Community Controlled Health Services, and held senior positions in Queensland Health and the Commonwealth Department of Health & Ageing. He has held various Board appointments at local, regional, state and national levels of both mainstream and Community Controlled, including the National Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (NACCHO), the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Community Health Service (ATSICHS) Brisbane and Health Workforce Queensland.

Her background includes senior operational roles in clinical coding, clinical costing, activity-based funding, Medicare and private health billing (Right of Private Practice). She brings deep expertise in using health informatics to support financial sustainability and operational efficiency.

Since moving into health advisory, Kirsty has worked with over 20 Local Health Networks across four jurisdictions, supporting healthcare providers navigating multiple data systems and diverse clinical documentation tools. She is passionate about working directly with clinicians to strengthen commercial acumen — helping reduce administrative burden and free up more time for patient care.

Chris has extensive experience in the public health finance sector and is passionate about supporting the provision of high-quality and efficient health care for patients. He has held senior finance and commercial positions and has worked in the public health system for more than 15 years, most recently as the Director of Finance at a metropolitan hospital and the Director of Commissioning Management at Queensland Health. 

Chris has experience developing financial models that support the commissioning of health services, particularly new and complex service models and has supported the financial and commercial analysis in various health and social sector infrastructure business cases.

Michelle Baulderstone

Michelle is a seasoned health sector professional with over a decade of experience with a global consulting firm and having held senior positions in both the Commonwealth and Queensland government. Passionate about fostering a sustainable health system for future generations, she excels in health strategy and governance, having led numerous strategic projects, including recent work in regional governance, primary care, First Nations health reform and system-wide workforce reform. As the former national lead for workforce at KPMG across health and human services, Michelle has a proven track record in workforce reform and organisational design, directing complex projects and, more recently, has focused on health reform that drives meaningful change for the most vulnerable.
